It was weird to have her dad standing right there, talking to her like he didn't know her. Mary's hand went up to absently toy with the necklaces. Touching Ellen's melted-down army man brought a little sense of comfort, even if it increased the urgency to find her sister.
She nodded tersely and looked over at Dean. He'd recognized something in her questions, she knew that. All the same, she thought it best if they both play it off like they were just two FBI agents assigned a case.
"Yes. Just compiling a list of the last-known whereabouts of all of the missing people. Which missing person are you currently looking into?"
