He studied the engine as well, but apparently Godric was getting more from the examination. Harry couldn't tell the difference between an alternator and a radiator.
At the vampire's words, he suppressed a mock shudder. "Foul... things," he muttered, but was unable to keep from grinning. Finally he just gave in and had a good laugh. His wariness about Godric was rapidly going the way of the dodo. Anyone who could pull of this level of wiseassery was okay in his book.
"Alright," he said finally, once he'd gotten his breath back. "Time to find a pay phone." He sighed to himself, missing his old Beetle. And his old mechanic. "Hope I can find someone who won't be looking to rip me off."
