"Thanks," Jo said, as she started to unwrap the tattoo.
The aroma of coffee and breakfast sandwiches wafted over to her and she gave a grateful smile. She'd eaten the night before, but she still couldn't shake the feeling that she hadn't eaten in a month. Possibly because she hadn't.
Once the tattoo was exposed, she took a seat at the table and claimed her coffee and sandwich.
"Mm. Breakfast and coffee. Don't let it go to your head, but you're pretty much a god to me right now."
Once she had eaten enough that her stomach wasn't loudly demanding attention, she looked over at Dean.
"So, I really hate that yet again I need to ask you what I missed over a significant chunk of time. Though I guess at least it's not a year this time."
