"Then I suppose I won't go poking the bears." He was a little disappointed in that. He really wanted to know who was who. It seemed slightly unfair that they could just move through society, he could be talking to anyone of them, and never know.
"I'm sure that there are ways to keep the dead really dead." Like when he was done with them. Cavan was pretty sure that none of his corpses would come back to haunt him. "Unless there are ghosts. But ghosts can't really do anything to anybody. Poltergeists, I suppose, can. But I think the theory on that is that it's a manifestation of people's feelings, so that doesn't matter."
