Cavan laughed. The book wasn't burning so much anymore, and that was kind of a pity because there was still some of it left.
"Uhm." He scratched his head. He wasn't going to tell her what he did. That would be stupid. But he was sort of painted in a corner right now. He had to say something. "Little things, I suppose. Setting things on fire. Getting into fights." Little truths, little lies. But what else was he going to say to her? The first was backed up at least by the fact that he carried a lighter. And it wasn't the only source of fire on him.
"Things like that." He tried to look a little bit ashamed about it all.
