Despite wanting to linger in the shower, Jo really did want to get that tattoo. And, she realized, that she was being rude to Harry.
It was hard to care too much about social niceties in the wake of what had just happened.
Of course, she also didn't want to seem like she couldn't handle the job. Yes, she knew this was extenuating circumstances but she'd always been eager to prove herself. She'd always felt like she had to work twice as hard to prove herself since no one had really thought she could hack it.
So she fought the urge to just sit down in the shower and let the hot water run over her. Instead, she finished cleaning up and dried herself off, dressing quickly.
She was still toweling off her hair when she rejoined Dean and Harry. A part of her just wanted a reassuring hug or touch or something, but instead she just folded herself into the couch, pulling her legs up and crossing them under her. Though she wanted to go soon, she would wait for Harry and Dean to finish talking.
