"Sounds like a deal." He wrapped his arms around her for a hug, and let out a long sigh of relief. Sure, there were still complications. Sure, there were things in the way. There was work, there was magic, there was the end of the world looming. But they were throwing in the towel against putting this off, and going for it.
He leaned in and kissed her again, lightly, savoring the sensation. In his mind's eye, he could see her the way she had looked in his Sight - an angel of wrath, robed all in white, with a blazing sword at her side. He remembered the brilliant smile she'd given him once, even when outwardly she'd been serene.
"Thomas filled me in on the case," he said after a moment. "Maybe we should go help him dig?" There was a bit of a teasing note in his words. Harry was content to let his brother do the dirty work for once, and linger here with Murphy -- with Karrin a bit longer.
