Mel didn't answer the first question because Dawn was hopping right to the second one, like she'd hoped.
"Both," she said. She offered Dawn a brilliant smile, one that would've gotten her out of trouble with Erin.
She started walking, shoving the book in her hand into her backpack by swinging it around the front of her body. There were stakes in her cargo pockets, and other assorted goodies in the bag.
"So... what do you know about York?" she asked as they made their way off the campus. "All the completely splin stuff, I mean."
It probably wouldn't take long to get somewhere where something would pop out at her. It never did.
