Dean's mouth opened to answer and then he realized: Sam didn't intend to stay with him. That was just... unless they were fighting, Sam was always there.
"Sam, you just somehow mojo-ed your way back from Hell," Dean reminded. "I'd kinda like to get to spend some time with my brother."
And since he wasn't stupid, he sighed and spit out the rest.
"Jo's not there right now, if you... think it's gonna be awkward. She had a bad time with the fair. Became a wizard. She took off for a few days. Needed to clear her head."
Oh. That was a thing he should bring up.
"So... Harry and Molly... Molly's his student, little blonde girl, kinda squirrely..."
He looked at Sam to be sure he was following.
"Both are wizards. They can do this thing if you look them in the eye too long where they see your soul. All of it. They call it a 'soulgaze.'" Dean remembered the step pyramid, and the pretty girl with the slit throat. "Trust me when I tell you you don't want to be soulgazed. Harry's... he shoulda been on tour with us."
