Sam sucked in a slow, deep breath as the proverbial elephant in the room grew; with the weight of everything they weren't saying squeezing his chest. He tried to focus on the fact that they were still talking, rather than the edge of unease that ran along his skin like an invisible knife.

And he could say that now that he wasn't in Phaedra's presence. If Dean wanted to risk getting decked for repeating it to the vampiress, that was Dean'd problem.
