Saerian hadn't spent a lot of time on learning about Karrin Murphy, but there was a little bit of common knowledge that went with being able to read a person's thoughts. She was smart as a whip, and she was determined, and she was good at her job. She'd get there, with or without his annoying prods. He was confident of that.
But he didn't get all dressed up, so to speak, with Wolfram and Hart's help, to have nowhere to go. She had to put the pieces together, just like Phaedra had to, just like Harry really should.
Because when he got Phaedra under his control, when he'd seen to it that Lindsey was erased, even if the idiot had been a good distraction... there was just not going to be anything like that recognition that once, she'd been on their side.
He hadn't even been the one to call in the hit on Lindsey, it was just a bonus. There was nothing like those little twists.
What I am? That's an easy one. Give the Seattle PD a call. When they can't answer your questions, bother the one... person... here that you know from Seattle.
