Murphy turned her back on him as he started to retreat. She was fully ready to react should he think it was okay to just stand around and watch, but she would give him the moment to clear out.
She moved around the body, taking pictures and looking over the crime scene for any clues as to who might have killed her.
She didn't feel Saerian sifting through her thoughts, though if she had she would have been quick to draw her gun. After all, she'd had things screwing around with her mind before and it made her feel helpless, which in turn made her angry. She didn't do well with being helpless.
