York was not Chicago. It wasn't as cold. Wasn't as crowded. Wasn't as much in a hurry, but whether this all was a good thing remained to be seen. Justine wasn't sure what to make of it all. It was change. Change was upsetting.
But Thomas wanted to be here for Harry. She understood that, and for Thomas' sake would try to acclimate herself. She'd made certain that circumstances were...perfect...for Thomas to help her in case she couldn't adjust right away. It had been a good thing she had set matters up that way since the lack of a cityscape kind of frightened her. Her mood had been greatly improved after their first night here.
Since she was feeling calm she decided to do what she could to help matters, and have a look around town. She was horrible out of place in her designer clothing and heels, all of it white, but she paid the looks she got no mind as she walked down the street. Eventually she got too chilly and found her way to a coffee shop.
She got to the door just as another, much shorter woman did. If not for the difference in hair color, Justine might have thought she was somebody else, but Ms. Murphy's hair was quite definitely blonde. Justine smiled shyly and held the door open for the other woman, her voice quiet, and thanksfully calm sounding. "Hello."
