Ellen actually groaned. "You had to say it, didn't you?" She cocked the shotgun, bringing it out from under her coat and resting the barrel against her shoulder. "Next thing you'll be saying 'it could be worse'..."
There was a scream, from deeper inside the maze. Ellen's head snapped round, tracking the sound. Sighing, she turned back to the blonde. "Look, you're probably safer with me than you are by yourself."
