Jo didn't remember falling, but she was on her knees. There was liquid on her cheeks, though she didn't remember crying.
She swiped at her cheeks and took a steadying breath and then nodded while massaging her head.
"Yeah," was the only word she managed to get out.
It took another minute or two before she was able to get to her feet, wincing.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know that would happen."
A part of her just wanted to go up to Dean, to give him the tightest hug she could. But she felt like she'd just intruded on his privacy in a major way. Not to mention that she could only guess what he'd seen in return.
