Coming Home (Justine)

After he'd left Murphy at her own place Thomas had driven around a bit to get used to the town before heading home. It really was a small town. There were definitely going to be problems that came up from it being a small town. First of all it might be tricky to find third parties that could be trusted for Justine. Then it might be tricky to eat on a regular basis without addicting anyone or feeding too heavily too often from the same people.

Well that was shit to be figured out later. Right now Thomas just wanted to get home.

He parked his Hummer in the driveway of the house he and Justine were renting and took a minute to slip on his gloves and make sure as little bare skin as possible was showing. The house was furnished but Thomas ignored everything other than making sure it was secure as he made his way through it to the rooms he and Justine tended to settle in for comfort. Here there were signs of people finally instead of pristine rooms set up for show.

"Justine?"

whiskey in mind (lindsey, phaedra)

Dean was happy that everything was mostly back to normal. Jo was in her own body. And not frying electronics. He wasn't scratched anymore and craving human flesh. And most importantly, he did not spontaneously fly into the air without warning.

The fair had been fucking draining. Dean could live the rest of his life happy without a clusterfuck like that ever happening again. Evil was fine, demons were fine... but shit like that was not.

He shook his head and downed his drink, getting up from his spot at the bar and getting ready to go back to the Phoenix and get back to it. The door opened as he paid his tab, and the guy that walked in looked like someone Dean should know. He was familiar, somehow. He didn't know why. But the air he had about him was a strong one that said "not to be fucked with."

So, because it'd been that kind of week, Dean decided to fuck with him.

He waited until the guy was inside and seated at the bar before he started to talk. "Do I know you from somewhere?"

the elephant in the room (Harry)

Once she'd composed herself slightly, Phaedra pulled on a pair of jeans, unlocked her door, and went out into the rest of the house barefoot, pacing and angry. The laptop sat open on her bed, Lindsey's picture still on the screen. Her hair was disheveled, the black tank top she'd slept in was off one shoulder.

She got to the middle of the kitchen before she realized Harry was watching her pace and could fully see her scowling face. She was far from threatening right now, and far from any kind of focused.

She didn't say anything, she just shrugged and put both hands on her hips.

There was a lot to talk about with Harry.

So of course, he was home.
