"It's a welcome break," Riley said, smiling at the man with the pipe.
He meant it. Other than his brief sojourn to get fried foods slathered in gravy with Molly, he hadn't really had much time to himself since arriving in York. The fair wasn't his ideal way to spend the afternoon, but it was a small town, and it sure beat gnarly night beasts trying to bite him.
Riley stooped to peer at the the assorted items on the table in front of the man. It's not that anything particular had caught his eye, per se, but the owner had taken the time to say hello, so Riley felt the polite thing to do was at least look at what he had laid out.
Scanning the items, he grinned seeing the key on the string. He couldn't help himself, it made him think of Dawn.
Moving on, his eyes stopped on the Day of the Dead dolls.
"Very cool. I worked in Mexico for a spell. I was there for Dia de Los Muertos. These totally remind me of all the art during the celebration. It's fascinating blend of colors for such a grim thing, no?"
Riley straightened up and smiled at the man.
"I'm sure you get to travel all over the world with this, though. It's probably just another sight to see for you."
