"Actually I mean both," Dean said. "Nobody said we couldn't have stupid carnival games and cotton candy while checking to make sure everything's Kosher."
He actually figured this would be something Jo really wanted to do. She was always, always gunning to be seen as a more serious hunter. Flat out inviting her to go check something out wasn't something he'd ever done. Not even in Carthage.
"If we go check it out and it's all normal, then we can do a normal people date."
He couldn't even say it without laughing. Normal people date. He'd had some of those, with Lisa. People watched movies together and drank drinks and had dinner that didn't come out of a drive-thru. He didn't think it'd be normal. But it'd give them a chance to talk.
