Wow. Okay. So she'd at least seen 'Back to the Future.' Dean felt a little bit better about her upbringing, now.
I heard stories.
Dean smirked and shook his head. Stories. Jesus. The man was still a goddamn legend. He shut the door once Ellen was through it and went back to the counter. He nodded at the waitress behind it and she held up a finger, she'd be with him in a minute.
"Sister," Dean said to Ellen, "you have no idea."
When the waitress came back, he ordered them a pretty standard breakfast and asked for it to-go. Despite the fact that the people in the restaurant weren't really batting any eye at Ellen anymore, he figured being rocketed back in time was enough without worrying if the people around you were judging you for your freak out. Besides, she'd asked. With food in boxes in hand, Dean nodded toward the door.
It was a nice enough day out that they could sit outside and eat. A little ways off from Friendly's, but just off the parking lot, there was a picnic table. It looked like there had once been more than just the one here. But one was just fine.
