Elle's face nearly split in two, broad smile lighting up her face. Probably a smile that was at least a little familiar.
"Here's hoping," she jogged back over to the motel entrance, grabbing her duffel and hoisting it up onto her shoulder.
"I know enough to decide I don't wanna stay there anymore," she explained, sliding her duffel into the back seat. And wondering how long it would take him to ask about the clinking noises and interesting bulges.
