Dean leaned against the now-closed door behind him.
"I'm a big brother," he said. "It's what I do. Longer'an anything else."
He could feel it, then. The lack of Sam. Sometimes it wasn't so bad. There was a ton of supernatural stuff to look into. There was Jo. But then sometimes, there was this huge goddamn gap where Sam should've been. And the things he'd say to Sam, apparently they had to come out, one way or another.
"So, just the one more time: you sure this person can handle it?"
His face was serious. He was trusting Molly's judgement. At least a little.
