"I promise you things are different when I do it all my way." Cavan looked up just in time to see the other man's hand come down far too quickly for any human. His previous notions had just been confirmed. He eyed the head as it flew off into the darkness, waiting for the sick wet sound of it's impact, and smiled when it occurred.
He returned his gaze to the matter at hand.
Cavan had never experienced a bonding moment before, but he was sure that's what this was. He had found somebody who shared that dark part of himself, somebody who didn't think what he did was wrong. Somebody who, in fact, was very encouraging. He supposed that this was what other boys felt when they discovered a favorite baseball player, earned a badge in Boy Scouts, or any of the many other inane activities 'normal' people subscribed to.
He thought it was only fair, really, that his project be terminated as it was, ending before it ended, as he had pretty much just done the same thing in the diner.
Cavan took a moment to choose something, finding the zipper pull on the man's jacket a suitable addition, and prying it off. It fell into his pocket with the earring. Two. Two in one night.
