From several blocks away, Harth could see the glow of the flames quickly engulfing the diner. Thinking back on the last few minutes, he couldn't help but be impressed with his current companion's penchant for destruction. He was just planning to leave the bodies behind for someone to find. The fire was a nice touch, though. It's what mortal go-getters tended to refer to as "above and beyond."
They had walked casually from the quickly smouldering scene, now a safe distance from wandering eyes. Admittedly, burning down a building wasn't discreet, but neither was carving archaic symbols into the chest of a British man. It was par for course.
Now in the open darkness, Harth turned to his newly acquired playmate.
"I'm not really into wasted time. The burnt building was then, this is now. Find someone. Show me your skills."
