That was cute, the thing Harry was doing. It was cute because, while outside of the human body he currently occupied, while admittedly much more ineffectual, Saerian was roughly the size of the entire state.
Behind Harry, Phaedra simply stood, in that still way she had. The way that made it clear she wasn't human. She didn't have anything to contribute to this lunacy. At all. She was waiting for the inevitable problem. She was waiting to act as a human shield and get back between the demon and... well, she supposed she had a friend, now.
Saerian considered the wizard's words.
"Perhaps I was unclear," he said, very politely. "You can't make me leave. I'm sure you can do a spell or something to force the issue. I don't doubt that. But your spells? They're not going to work. Not for long."
He looked past Harry's shoulder to Phaedra.
"What I'm doing here? She didn't tell you that, either? I'm sure she did. Overall, it's quite a simple and human motivation."
