I was indescribably relieved at her words. "Thanks, Leah." I squeezed her hand. I believed her when she said she'd had my back before the imprint. Leah had always been fiercely loyal, and I knew when she joined my pack that, even if I didn't necessarily want her there, she would look out for me.
I sighed at her question. I'd been running through that in my head for nearly the entire walk here. I shifted my feet. "I need to tell them about the imprint, first. Then I need to explain to them...the way things are going to be. They have to get that...well, that you come first.
I took a deep breath and stared out at the Cullen house. "I guess we need to get this over with."
