"I would suggest you start by taking your employer's offer of an ear to listen seriously," she said. "He will not judge you. He does not know your standards. He may be able to provide you with some perspective."
She leans back against the cushions of the booth. "I will keep this booth for you, until you need it no longer. It will always be shielded. It will always be a safe place for you," she told the empath. "You require safety; it is part of who you are, and what you are now." She could see the changes in the other woman's mind, the modifications made to bring a potential gift into actuality. All raw, all new, all aching. Had she the ability, Lucy thought she might feel sorrow for this other, this Tirren.
"Your center is the core of who you are," she said, deciding to move on to something which could be truly said to be her task: enlightenment. "Your ground is your connection to the rest of being. For empaths, the second is always harder to find than the first. As yet, you are not centred, and you will not be until you embrace your entire being and accept it. You will find your ground by finding your place, your purpose, your goal."
Lucy stood up. "That is all I shall tell you for now. You are capable, you will learn."
