There's not a physical problem with your brain, which is surprising given our level of discourse we're engaging in right now, but I have higher standards than most. I'd say most of your problem is a result of extremely-specific PTSD, but I'm not the boring psychologist of the X-Men; Jean usually employs the more-official sounding diagnoses. Basically, your brain apparently found the act of dying and resurrecting extremely emotionally painful, for whatever reason. Consequently it needs essentially a hard reset and the blocks in place need to be removed. I'd suggest a few at a time rather than the whole cat. Going mad would defeat the purpose of this exercise, wouldn't you agree?
