Who: Leonard Church and Edward Cullen Where: Church's place What: Bad decision making, of course. Rating: R for swears and some sexual suggestion/content
This was a bad fucking idea. So many levels of bad. It wasn't that Church didn't know when he was making bad decisions. He just ignored it and did whatever he wanted. No impulse control. If he had regrets later, that was future Church's problem. The morality switch he got as a vampire? He thought it was full of shit. Maybe an excuse for people to do stupid crap and pretend it wasn't them. Maybe it was just him being broken, like usual, and he couldn't cut it out of him the same way others could. Whatever the reason, he tried to block out the pain and anger and hurt, and it didn't work. So whatever happened, it didn't fucking matter. He didn't have any pride to worry about losing.
He had his own apartment, some semblance of privacy, but Caboose and Sheila were a few doors down. Like an idiot, after talking to Edward, he actually tried to pick up the place. He started, and then stopped and said fuck him, and then started again. In the end it was decent, but not to anal retentive level. It was a nice place, he was successful at his job, and he didn't go flashy. He didn't want the stress of bullshit like that. He liked to keep to himself and mostly only had booze around, like now. There was a lot of booze everywhere in the place, like it was necessary to his existence.
He changed his clothing three times. You dipshit. He was 'casual' in jeans and a Rolling Stones t-shirt, that had to be good enough. The only major difference in him these days was his lack of a heartbeat. That was a major difference, for people who knew the difference. He paced around and mentally swore at himself. He wasn't drinking yet. It probably wasn't going to stay that way.
