Republic of Moldova. Two weeks, Steve and I are going to be placed in a homestay in Moldova for six weeks of Peace Corps education & development training. Holy shit. I have two weeks to like, switch from learning Russian to learning Romanian. But holy shit this is really happening.
Also FYI it's 850 miles away from Germany - flights are $300 round trip and take about 3 hours - the BUS takes 12 hours and is only $100 a ticket. I did research. Not that we'll get more than like, two days off in a month. Also high five to the people who threw in a good word for us, cause otherwise Steve and I would've had to get married to go together.
