I teach way down on the bayou, and I'm busy during the year, but right now I have nothing to do but plan (I love procrastination). I'm usually on at night, regardless of the time of year. Most people call her Alex, and only close family calls her Ally. She is originally a Rosier (yes, another one) and is Druella's baby sister, and one of... what? 4, 5 kids? Which means that she's related to almost everyone by either blood or marriage. Currently, she's an Avery, married to original gangsta Death Eater Kevan Avery, and has been for about seven years. It was an arranged marriage, and Alex did her duty to her family. It was fine at first, he spoiled her and was charming, but he turned abusive. Now, after seven years, Alex hates him and wants to kill him. The bright spot in her life is her cousin, Daniel, who she's been sleeping with since Hogwarts. Of course, her husband does not know (at least, she's 99% sure he doesn't know). The key to Alex is that she's very good at doing what's expected of her, and she secretly resents it. Introduction! [20 Jul 2012|04:56pm] thedevilandme Hello kids! My name is Jen and I'm new here. I will not use a fancy play on Call Me Maybe because I am not that creative like most people here. I have been RPing for some... ten years now? Wow. I didn't realize it's been that long until just now. That's so depressing. Well I guess that means I am seasoned in all of this and have been a part of many different RPGs amongst the HP realm. Currently I work a full time job Monday through Friday whilst going to school part time (come September I will be in school MWF). Now, time for the good stuff! I bring you Joe Manganiello Daniel Rosier, otherwise known as Danny or Dan to his friends. He is 30 years old taken from 1965. He was a Slytherin from 1946 to 1953 (due to his late birthday) and was quite the Quidditch Chaser while there. Old man, I know. In fact, he's so old that he was a part of the original group of Death Eaters, then known as the Knights of Walpurgis (yikes). Since no one was the wiser of this group, Danny became a hitwizard because he appreciates the law and being able to bend it to his will and that of his friends, but he's also a physical guy and likes to be the authority. He has two sisters, one older and one younger and a cousin he's been banging around with since he was 15 fancies more than he should. She was forced into an arranged marriage which hasn't stopped them that he very much disapproves of and has plans of killing the bastard and making it look like some tragic accident. Since they were teenagers, he's seen his cousin Alex as his. Nevertheless, Danny and his cousin do have an unspoken understanding that they will have other partners. This can make him very jealous, but what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Even though he only wants Alex, he still has his fun too. While he can be an easy going guy, he is usually more aggressive in nature and is quietly dangerous keeping all sorts of secrets. [20 Jul 2012|12:38pm] boitheamaigh Hello everyone it's Caolinn here with my second character, Rowan Burke of the Borgin and Burkes Burkes. She is twenty-four and an ex Ravenclaw. She was taken from 2009 where instead of working in the wizarding world, opened her own tea shop/bakery where she loves to work and is completely devoted to her job. She was a second year when the second wizarding war occurred. She obviously did not have a big part in it and was shipped out of the school when it was threatened because she was so young, but she remembers how scary it was and how much she wanted it to be over. She has a brother who is seven years older than she is. Her dad married her mum basically for business reasons and she wanted status. Rowan's mum is from Ireland and they lived there until she was seven and then they moved to London so that her mum could immerse herself in Wizard society. Rowan was then given a governess because her mum did not want to deal with her. She had some trouble learning just because she liked to do things her own way which did not exactly fit with the regular way of doing things. Her best friend is her cousin and they rely on each other for entertainment at society events. Rowan always acts like she has her head in the clouds, but she is cunning and quick witted when she needs to be which can surprise a lot of people. At these society events she always likes toying with the boys and seeing how many suitors she can find without an intention of marry/dating any of them. Really she's a nice girl and will be friendly with anyone. She's laid back and one of those anything goes kind of people, but I think she is sort of more comfortable around purebloods than anything else. Except for all of her muggle customers who she loves very much because they give her business. Introduction! [20 Jul 2012|07:12am] darker_epiphany Hello, I'm Kristie and I just got here - But here's my intro - So read it maybe! Hi! I've been RPing for years now and love to write all sorts of interactions. I work a desk job M-F 6am-3pm and I live in California, which puts me in the Pacific time zone. I sometimes have time from work to write tags and such, but it can be sporatic. I'm also 5 months pregnant and we (my hubby and I) are excited to welcome our son in early December. Now, on to more exciting things, like Scorpius Malfoy! His full bio is Here! Physically, he's clearly a Malfoy and looks quite like his father and grandfather. He's just barely a year out of Hogwarts where he was relatively well-liked and in his final year was Head Boy. He was a beater for the Ravenclaw House Team from his second year onwards. Yes, he was sorted into Ravenclaw. But that doesn't make him any less of a Malfoy. He is still very egotistical, egocentric and entitled. He's also still very much a purist and while he's not very experienced (note: he's a virgin...shhhhh) he fully inteneds to continue his pureblooded heritage without a doubt. Family, to Scoropius, is everything. He was raised by Draco and Astoria to be a proper Malfoy and respect both his heritage and his blood. His parents were active and involved parents. His mother gave into his every desire and his father, taking a different approach to parenting than his own father had, gave Scorpius his complete attention when requested and played a full participant role in molding young Scorpius into the young man he is today. Growing up in a mudblood-loving world, though Scor has learned not to outwardly vocalize such beliefs, has given Scorpius a bit of a more relaxed view of the world than the war-torn era of his parents and grandparents. That doesn't mean he particularly likes the fact that mudbloods are considered his equal because, they certainly are not, however, the post-war world that he comes from is far more diverse than previous generations. Before being brought here he was working in a junior position within the Department of Mysteries and was on his way home from a rather long and involved day at the DoM when he found himself in this new world. Zeus is bringing you Oberon Carrow, the finest addition to your Manor you could possibly wish for! ;) But first things first: my name is Mia, I'm 23 years old and I live on CET time, although my sleeping habits would suggest otherwise. I'm a law student (I know, how'd that happen?!) and I tutor high school students in order to finance my nicotine and caffeine addiction. Harry Potter has been my fandom of choice for the last eight years and it's been sweet! :) Now, what can I tell you about Oberon... he's Alecto's and Amycus' first cousin and Othelia's twin brother. He went to Hogwarts (Slytherin, class of 1978, so Snape was his roommate <3) and worked for the Ministry afterwards (Law Department - haha!). He's now 24 years old and has been sleeping with his sister repeatedly for over 10 years. He's a badass and doesn't care much for people and only appreciates company when he's drunk or when he wants to be entertained. He's always on board with fun stuff, because life's to short to be wasted sitting around and doing nothing, so I guess if you want to become acquainted with him, plan a pool party or something! :) What else...hmmh. [01 Jul 2012|08:44am] la_francesca More Lestrange's... they're everywhere, they're everywhere *GRIN* So this is the lovely Francesca Lestrange, one of the oldest as she is coming in from 1860 at 18, almost 19 years old. She is possibly the other half of one of the reasons the family is....screw up? Well she did give birth to a son who was fathered by her older brother Romain. :) Awesomely fun times. The descendants can have fun with that. She is very much of the time, a proper lady, society favourite, heiress and popular. She was a bit spoiled as she wanted for nothing and had freedom to learn many things, and question others, much of which women of the time didn't get the chance to do. She can be very independent and a bit stubborn but all within propriety. She is utterly loyal to Romain and has love for those who dislike him. She is strong and smart. She enjoys playing the piano-forte and horseback riding, and archery and fencing as well. Being from the time that she is, she is almost always scene in proper clothes. We're talking hair done, hats or adornments, petticoats and corsets, hoopskirts and dresses. Francesca doesn't know anything else. She might be tempted for more modern clothes but could never wrap her mind around them. She is coming from the time as she has just left school and she is now proper lady of the house to her brother and enjoys continuing to learn of the family business and her brother is utterly dashing and only just turned 40. Charlus comes from 1943, where he's (finally) married to Dorea Black and works as an Obliviator. He was being investigated by Unspeakables for a possible transfer to the DoM, his elder brother was disowned, and he's fond of whiskey and his dog named after his mother in law. Olivia comes from 1979 and is the daughter of a horse breeder/trainer and a nurse. She's an avid reader, a semi-secretive writer, and primarily secretive bisexual. Very independent, doesn't like heights or dressing up. Anyway, I'm Chelsea, your average penniless, jobless recent grad. :D And more importantly, I bring you Regulus Black, the third gen one, born in 1906. He's Arcturus' and Lycoris' baby brother and, like all proper Blacks, loves his family to pieces. Prooobably loves his big sister a little more than is socially acceptable, but y'know. He comes from 1928, so he's 22 years old and just loafing around, not doing much with his life (the benefit of being the youngest son). He's working as a journalist, not his parents' first career choice for him, but they have an understanding. As far as personality goes, he comes off as a really congenial fellow, charismatic and chatty. And he actually enjoys the company of other people, so I suppose he's a bit of an extrovert. This is only one side of him however, because he's got a secretive, vindictive side if you cross him. But the trick is no one ever realizes he's angry with them, because he just pretends as if nothing is wrong and bides his time until he can get revenge. To keep this short, I guess I'll give you his laundry list of traits: clever, sarcastic, occasionally cruel, cunning, curious, arrogant, and persistent. [23 Jun 2012|01:38pm] black_angel Hi Folks! I'm Jess and I've brought everyone's favourite disowned Black heir, Sirius Black. He's cousin to Andromeda, Narcissa and Bellatrix, and Regulus' older brother, son of Walburga and Orion. We know him (in the future) to be Harry's godfather but this is Sirius WAY before that. He's a little over 19, brought in from 1979, a year out of Hogwarts and has been heaving fighting with the Order to fight TDL*G* He was disowned for not towing the family line of Anti-Muggle opinion and Blood Purity. As you can imagine this didn't go over well. He's not exactly happy to be away from his family, despite opinions to the contrary. Sirius liked people and is fairly friendly, charming and something of a flirt. He was in Gryffindor of course and was very good at charms and transfiguration but has many years of dark arts training from when he was younger, following Bellatrix, when he was still in the good graces of the family. Andromeda is still his favourite cousin. He currently doesn't have a roommate but is staying next door to his cousins. He will need all sorts of lines, good and bad.
