Justin was a bit surprised by the girl grabbing his hand, she was certainly... something. Very different than people who he had been friends with back home. They weaved in and out of the crowded station before ascending up concrete stairs to the thriving metropolis that was New York City.
He could still sense a werewolf near him, but there were too many people. God, he wished he could just fucking block it out somehow. Couldn't here be some drugs or something made by a werewolf who didn't particularly want to feel all wolf-y twenty-four seven, all year round. Sure, if there was no escaping the whole full moon thing. Whatever. But it was constantly weighing on him, reminding him that he wasn't normal. He was a beast, freak. Justin shook his head, banishing the thoughts away. He shouldn't be thinking about that, he was in the company of the first decent person in NYC. He should be enjoying it.
"Lead the way," he smiled at her, as they set off at a decent pace, though still flowing with the crowd. "So, you didn't tell me some of your favorites. Movies, we'll stay on topic and go into music later." He always sort of hated this part, and at the same time liked it. The whole playing twenty questions bit. It was annoying at times, wondering what your favorite things said about you to the other person. Justin had learned to just be honest, you wanted people to like you but at what cost? Liking a movie didn't make you a bad person. People could like completely different things and still be good friends.
