Laughing at the joke, Kira replied with a smile in her voice, "And miss the opportunity for making a memorable entrance?" The smile broke through. "Where would the fun be in that?" A strand of long, black hair fell free and across her cheek as she shook her head at his offer, "Oh, no, I couldn't!" She smiled at him. "Thanks, though." Not many people were nice enough to offer up their seat. It was almost gentlemanly of him and you didn't find a lot of that on the New York City subway.
"But," Kira said, playfully letting the word hang in the air, "there is something else you could do for me. Now that we've been," she smiled, "atypically introduced you could give me your name. Look, I'll start; I'm Kira and I like pina coladas, good music, and don't usually make a habit of falling in strangers laps." Another friendly smile as she rambled on, "Kidding about the pina coladas." She made a face, "I'm allergic to coconut."
