Amused by the rather adorable ramble, Kira stifled laughter with a smile. Strands of her straight black hair fell across her cheek when she tilted her head to look at him and gift him with that warm smile. "Thanks," she said. "It's nice to meet you too." As clumsy as their meeting may have been she was really glad it had happened.
"I think my parents wish I was less independent and more," obedient wasn't the word she was looking for but it was what first came to mind, "like them." She shrugged, obviously a little bothered by it but trying to shake it off nonetheless. "They're good people. We just don't understand each other."
Kira walked further into the store, perusing the shelves and the numerous music selections they contained. She didn't really need to buy anything; she was just here to keep Justin company. "So," she said, still curious about her new friend, "what are you going to school for?"
