Putting a hand over her heart, Kira put on a serious air and teased, "I know, I know, I am amazing." She held her head high and waved an imperious hand. "Worship me, mere mortal. Worship me. Bathe in my greatness." As good an actress as she was she wasn't able to hold the act for long and she broke the solemnity with a bright smile.
Kira shrugged, "Really, don't worry about it. I'm glad to help." Justin was nice and she liked him (as if that weren't obvious). Besides...he seemed to be in need of a little kindness. Something was obviously troubling him but, as they only just met, it would be rude of her to pry. Which meant she'd just have to help in whatever little ways she could. She smiled at Justin again.
"So," Kira asked conversationally, "how long have you been in New York? Did you move here for collage?" She was curious about her new friend and wanted to know more. He was intelligent and funny, that much was obvious. Had a passion for music that rivaled her own. Was cute. Very cute. Especially when he did that half-smile thing. ...And was a werewolf. She worried her bottom lip, wondering whether or not to broach the toothsome-and-hairy-three-times-a-month subject. It was always a tough call; some people were touchy about their wild side.
