Dean... Dee... was a little tipsy, and that was okay. Aidan knew that she could take care of herself. She was, in fact, still Dean in that body, and the knowledge was still there. Dee could still pack a punch, though there wasn't as much physical weight behind it as there had been before, and there wasn't the same muscle. She was strong, that was undeniable, but she wasn't as strong, and she was still just as cocky.
Aidan was aware that if anything really bad went down, he didn't have anything to worry about, not really. That didn't mean he didn't have this wild protective streak in him. He'd been just as protective when Dean had been Dean. Okay, maybe that was a bit of a lie. There was more of an urge to follow through now.
"Maybe I didn't. Maybe I did. You didn't see his face." Aidan shook his head. The groping, that was bad, but it wasn't as bad as the leering. It wasn't as bad as seeing that the guy hadn't seen Dee as a hot woman, but a piece of furniture. The butt grab hadn't been done out of appreciation, but out of a sense of entitlement. This chair is here, and therefore I will sit on it, as is my right.
"I scowl too much? I? Dude. You were the queen of scowls before you got your set of perky... dimples."
The closeness of Dee should have bothered him, because that was Dean in there. It didn't, though. Aidan just narrowed his eyes as his mouth was moved into a smile. He hadn't gotten used to Dean's new body because he had to look at it all the time, and because it wasn't unattractive.
