Once upon a time, Aidan thought. Once upon a time. Now he wasn't that guy anymore, and it was mostly because of his restraint with blood. The blood made him different.
"We'll have to get you to the gym, first." Aidan's hand soaked up the warmth of Dee's shoulder. "You have to know what the body is capable of before there can be any sparring. Or wrestling."
There was a bit of a turn on the word 'wrestling', because Aidan knew what was being hinted at here. Not that it was a hint. It was more like a truck. On top of that, he didn't want to get into anything while there was alcohol involved. If any of this - whatever this was - was going to happen, it needed to be with completely clear heads.
