"Okay. You're not crying." Aidan wasn't going to push or argue or point out the tears. That didn't seem safe.
"Evergreen is... well... what kind? I mean, there are lots of trees in the Evergreen family, does it matter? Or can we just find any pine and go with it? I don't know if we can find an angel sword."
He knew Dean was serious, but he couldn't say that last one with quite the gravity that it deserved.
"Dean... your clothes aren't going to fit." Aidan was loathe to point it out, but there wasn't going to be much hunting if Dean had to clomp around in boots four sizes too big. "Sally has some stuff still here. You're about her size. Why don't you look in her closet."
He almost let it rest there. Then decided against it. "For shoes. She has to have some running shoes. Shoes."
Pause. "And maybe a bra, cause that's a little distracting."
