"It's not a bad kind of stress." The teasing was gentle, less suggestive than it could have been. He was trying to cheer her up, but there was always the chance of making it worse. The laugh was met with a smile, relieved and affectionate. A subtle nod was offered when Bianca looked his way, assurance that things were fine. They would be, anyway.
A hand was raised up to hers as she gestured. Not to capture it--he knew better than that when she was upset this way, verging on things going badly or getting better. The brush was just an invitation, that she could pull away from or turn into as she desired. "It will let me lock down that honeymoon, and if something comes up and we need to change things around... Well, we'll either move those dates or we can go on another vacation."
That wink came so easily. Everything seemed to for him. He followed her gaze to Bianca, awaiting confirmation that everything could remain flexible. In truth, he doubted they would be changing the dates. Once things were approaching, he had faith that she would be anxious, counting down the days with him. "It's going to work, Sweetheart. It just seems like a lot now, that's all. We'll get this. There's no hurry, not really. If it seems like I'm rushing you, it's just because I'm excited. That's a good thing. You know what we should plan right now? You'll like this..."
He leaned back, propping a foot against the coffee table, happy to let a little positive curiosity distract her.
