One a month. He almost started laughing when she said that. The mention of consuming only one seal a month went back to what he claimed earlier about her control. Roxy just employed it for an entirely different matter. It made him linger on the fact she was supposed to be sufficient at sustaining herself, and that insatiable hunger, in a desert. How she managed to find enough food in a landscape like that put him in the mindset he should dote on her more. Roxy unintentionally unleashed a flood gate of future presents she'd find around. Boxes of chocolates hidden in her things, delectable cuts of meat in the fridge with tragically adorable Alice in Wonderland tags that would say 'Eat Me'. It was basically heaven for her if she let him do what he wanted. It'd been a while since Abel had anyone to devote himself to lavishing with affection, indulging someone else's appetite, and shopping for. That Roxy actually cleaned up after herself and tended to the housework when he fell behind was a beautiful, beautiful thing to him. His natural healing ability made him a prime partner for her with those carnal appetites causing her to pounce him the moment he was home. Not that she hurt him, but with as insatiable as she was, his stamina replenished itself quicker than a human would have. She provided Abel with a different workout plan entirely. Not that he'd ever complain, nor would she as long as she got hers.
"Kitten," another of those wolfish smiles, "you're only embarrassing the waiter, it's when you order half the menu and manage to eat it all by yourself that you've caught me by surprise." At least as far as food was concerned. Her question brought a temporary frown and shake of his head. "Not... not like I do with Thomas because you don't have magic; it's a bond we have that lets him communicate with me, but we could try to find a way it could communicate with you. Though I suppose that means you'll hear Thomas too," he shot the feline a dirty look, "and I don't know if you want to hear half the shit he says."
