"That is true," she admitted, considering the possibilities, "but I can by pass his security and he wouldn't dare risk angering me enough to warrant it less he wished to forever sleep with one eye trained on the door." She had little concern speaking of such things with Mikino, at least not in their current surroundings. She did not create a lower image of Nye by speaking of the familiarity between them. They were siblings in everything but blood, after all. That was not uncommon knowledge.
She was content enough to emerge back onto a pathway, if only because her skirt was bothersome as it caught on the shrubbery. Once she was free of the restricted space, she released the fabric she had been holding out of the way to fall back around her feet, automatically reaching to smooth it, a habit not of her own making.
She glanced back to him when he answered her, considering him for a moment. "If I could prevent such disappointment, I would," she offered, knowing that there was little she could do as there was plenty in this place to remind him of what had taken place and what was still to come. Moving forward, she took his hand once more, a flash of her usual boldness shinning through. "I can, however, keep any agendas at bay a little longer," she winked, tugging lightly on his hand to continue forward.
