Hearing Brokk shift, she turned her attention away from those milling below her to find Mikino approaching them. Straightening, she turned to face him, a smile gracing her lips at his words. Despite the often trying interactions she found herself in over the course of the day, she was in an exceptionally good mood. Like he said, she'd survived so far. "It seems I have managed to maintain a working knowledge of the Palace," she returned, "Haven't gotten lost as of yet, which I classify as a success." This place was much different than Tadriel and, for Ava, it was easy to get distracted with her inner musings and miss the appropriate turn.
She had always found the militant air he often held as Judgement amusing. It was not that she did not think him capable. It was simply that she had quite the contrasting image from their youth to coincide with it. Still, it suited him none the less, particularly in their current surroundings. If nothing else, she was pleased to note his mood did not seem as stormy as the last time he had come upon her.
"There is still time for such things, however," she continued, stepping away from the railing and back into the main section of the corridor. She could just imagine the looks she'd receive if she stopped and asked for directions. It was probably best not to test her sense of direction within the palace and stick to what she knew. "What luck draws you to me?" she asked, her tone both amused and openly curiously.
