Faith was glad she was in California. She was not of the belief that she was going to stop seeing spirits. She had been reading up on what she was since she discovered they were ghosts, and she knew she was a medium. Faith wasn't really sure if she was that good at it, since she hadn't gotten James, her ex, to really go anywhere, but she was used to it. She just wished that she could get James to go. She didn't mind seeing him at all, because she had lost him so suddenly, but she knew it would be better for him in the long run if he went to the other side. He was constantly with her, and she always looked crazy when she talked to him.
The Starbucks was close to her house, and she loved coffee. It tended to make her a bit on the hyper side, but she was okay with that. She was generally pretty on the socially awkward side, so she was okay with a little bit of hyperness from the coffee. She was working on some schoolwork. She was still not sure what she wanted to study, but she didn't mind figuring it out. Faith was enjoying school. She had not really liked her last year of high school being in public school, but college was so much better. She liked the bigness of the SFU campus, and she was liking getting to know people. Even if some people still were a bit weirded out by her tendency to talk to things that others couldn't see.
Speaking of which, James was with her right now, trying to get her to talk to him. She sometimes ignored him if she was trying to get something done. "James, I'm working!" She said, louder than she meant, causing everyone in the cafe to look at her. Great.
