Who: Sidonie and Eoin When: Late Evening - After the events earlier in the evening. Where: Sidonie's personal Chambers What: Everyone has their limits.
The next couple of hours Sidonie tore up her room, and had also requested several records keepings to be brought to her. So far she was missing something, how did this have happened? She had been in her study and suddenly she just threw everything off her desk and then broke down. Soon she found herself ontop of her desk, cradling herself into a tiny ball. What if she wasn’t stable enough? Should she give up her crown? Was it really best for her people if she did? To step down while there was war to the north? To step down so soon after the attack? Or was this just a ruse because others wanted what she had? What was truth from lies?
Burying her head into her knees again and allowed her long brown hair to curtain around her – her wings were in a downcast position. Who was she to trust? Already she lost her best friend, a man she had known since childhood. Thinking about his loss she started to shed tears ago, and she felt her heart breaking all over again. It was true though, she didn’t owe him and he didn’t owe her. Maybe this was for the best, she could hear her mother’s words when she told her that Mikino could never be her prince charming.
Her mind turned to the princess – she still couldn’t fathom it. How was she not aware of this? Who was involved at keeping it a secret and why did it come up now? So many questions ran into her had when she heard a gentle knock on the door. Lifting her eyes up and quickly dried her tears, My lady…Lord Eoin is here to see you. Should I let him in?” The small voice of one of her ladies-in-waiting called out from behind the door. Sidonie looked around, she did need someone to know that they weren’t going to betray her. That someone was still on her side at court. “Send him in.” She said before moving off the table as the door opened.
Sidonie was a mess, and it was obvious that from the state of her private chambers she had been tearing up the place. She knew she looked weak for a queen, but she was still a woman with a mind and feeling.
