Who: Derek and Open to all of Aegis When: Late Afternoon Thursday What: Lunch Break Where: Aegis
The sun was out, the birds were singing and Derek was ready to bite something. The shifter had come in earlier then he normally would have that day to take care of a bit of paper work that had gotten left over from the night before...only to find the pile had doubled if not tripled in size while he was gone. While that had frustrated him, he had sighed and started on it anyway. After all while his official title at Aegis might have been mortician, he handled a bit more then the average person at a funeral home, paperwork not excluded. As it was he had a body down in the lab waiting for him but really, it wasn't like it was walking away any time soon.
An hour passed, then another, it was almost to the three hour mark before Derek finally put down his pen with a happy little smirk and went to move on to the next thing on the list. Getting a body ready for an autopsy always did have a way of calming him down and centering him...only before he had even pulled the body out he noticed that something was off about his equipment. Looking closer he found that his scalpels where missing. Not one of them, no. All of them.
Derek wasn't even going to try and understand it this time, instead he turned on his heel and headed out of the lab and into the lunch room. Food would help, it always did. He would sit down, relax, and eat. After that, while he would happily hunt down the person that was messing with him. Really it sounded like a solid plan, grade A and all that.
