He could have kissed her then, it would have been so easy. She was right there, beautiful, warm, inviting, everything Eoin liked and yet he didn't. Even looking at her now, having her so close, some part of him still remembered that she was the Queen and if there was ever anything to be undertaken delicately it was courting and making advances to the Queen. Even beyond that she was special to him and he wanted to do everything right with her. He wanted to be absolutely sure it was what she wanted before he did anything.
Eoin tilted his head to match hers, an easy smile on his lips, trying to control that desire to reach out and touch that porcelain skin that he was sure was softer than the finest silks.
