“Oh please do. I would love to hear that tale.” The mood was light and Sidonie did welcome it. These days it seemed that Sidonie was all serious all the time. “Do I have something on my face?” She had taken note of his staring and she gave him a little playful smile. “Far wiser?” She shifted her eyes; it seemed that other people in her court would likely say otherwise. Sidonie didn’t have room for people who would question her, she got that enough from Mikino. But it was nice that someone took notice, it wasn’t that she didn’t want to make the hard choices, but someone had too. Even if people hated her over it – Sid could never make everyone in her queendom happy. Not even herself.
She handed him a chocolate before picking one up herself, “Getting up early? I find myself liking to see the sun rising. As well as the moon rise. I can’t decide which one I like better.” Her shoulder was touching him as she leaned back again, at that moment she wasn’t the queen, but just another Sidhe. Born to a title that had the heavy weight upon it, eating the chocolate before looking over at the man and tilted her head to the side, “Is there another reason you have come to my personal chambers at this time of night? Or where you really looking to share some wine and chocolate with me?”
