When she had learned that Eoin wanted to see her and was at her chamber doors, Sidonie allowed him entry. Though she had retired for the evening, Sidonie was still awake. It seemed that sleep these days were rare. Walking out, her hair wasn’t in a braid like it usually was and came down around her shoulder. “Lord Eoin. What a pleasant surprise.” The cut on her forehead was pretty much healed but it would scare over for sure. Looking at the servants with a nod so they would be left alone, the only privacy that Sidonie ever had was in her own personal chambers.
Walking up to him and looking at the chocolates and the wine, “My favorite. How did you know?” She teased and walked over to grab two cups that were set aside and turned them right side up. “I thought you would had returned home.” Turning her head so she can look at him. “I wonder what makes you stay.” The queen said though she had her guesses. Most of the houses were away in their own land – and the Chaldean was still at her family home. For once in her life, the queen was alone. Walking back over to him, “Please sit.” And gestured to one of the couches before setting the glasses down and taking a seat herself.
