Sidonie looked over at Judgment who was seated to her right as he spoke. She didn’t care about the palace as much as making sure that their resources went to defenses. The queen was glad that was in the works already. If she showed any emotion that his home was attack Sid didn’t show it – they were making sure they got the key players. The queen nodded when he it seemed like he would end it right there and her hazel eyes turned towards the Leader of the West. Already the queen was thinking of what else they could do and it seemed like they would have to call upon the allies for support.
“Don’t ever hesitate. That one hesitation can lead to down fall. Do what you see fit to protect the boarders to the West Lady Duhghail. But if none of the scouts have returned yet with any type of report that is indeed to cause some worry some.” The queen thought about it as she looked down at the map at the center of the table. The lands to the West with scouts not coming back. “Lady Dughail, how long ago were these scouts where sent out?”
Her attention went to Lord Fredic of the North to give his report. “I have another task for you ask well. The dragons – they could be useful at patrolling the boards to the West. I think it is time to have the Enforcers would be useful to keep unwanted Danaan at bay.” She would say it out loud but she would even give the Dragons to attack and kill any Danaan they found. There were dragons that allied with the Sidhe, and it was never too call in allies.
And last but not least Lord Eoin – he had entered with her when they arrived. Placing a hand on the papers as she listened to Eoin. It was obvious she was not thrilled with the idea about traitors in her queendom. Treason meant death and shame brought unto the families – it was hard for those families to ever get back the influence they once had. Her hazel eyes looking up at Eoin, “What resources do you need for your search? I do not wish to spread us too thin but if we can uncover traitors I believe that will be beneficial to us all.”
The queen was silent for a moment longer as she thought about all their opinions before looking at each one. “Danaan initiated an act of war and as such we will treat it as War. Sidhe will not tolerate this.” She wasn’t going to make a large speech on this each of them would know what was going to happen. “We will not wait for them to attack and kill one of our own again. “ She would call another meeting with the generals of the armies and from there devise a plan to counter-attack the Danaan. But what they needed right now was information and to do that everyone had to do their part. Sidonie couldn’t do this alone, not with the help of the Four Houses.
