Another chuckle escaped from Sonja’s lips, “True. You got to think about it from both ways. Then again you could be the type of person that hates it and loves it at the same time. Well if you are going to start looking for a place my suggestion for you to someone closer to one of the college. They are a little cheaper on rent because of the amount of students. I used to have a studio close by there now, it is slightly farther away but I got lucky on the rent since I have a roommate. Might want to check that too. Sorry if I am going too fast with my talking.” She finished up her coffee and started to play with the straw.
“Well let’s get going.” Sonja stood up and tossed the plastic cup into the recycling bin before exiting out into the night. Her blue eyes looked over at the alleyway but again no threat coming from there. Fixing her bag and zipped up her jacket. “We might have to walk a bit before we see a cab. Sometimes you get lucky and other times not so much.” Sonja started to towards the downtown area, where she knew they could get one as it was one of the busier parts of the city. “Oh there is one.” Lifting her hand up she walked off the sidewalk and whistled loudly. The cab saw her and pulled over. Opening the door she got in, “Pier 39, please.”
