Sidonie gave him a sad smile – her eyes watery. “The Staff would only leave my side if The Chaldean…is no longer with us. And it is gone.” She started to pace, "Azyebel.” She whispered the woman name so faintly that one may not have heard it. She wanted to believe that Azzy was still alive but the staff disappeared and that could only mean one thing. She was no longer in this world – now more than ever she had to reach out to her Lord Regent and let him know she was still alive. “I almost did. Many men lost their lives to protect mine.” Thinking of the soldiers that she left when she escaped from the castle and the screams from the people – her eyes glowed purple before she closed them.
Feeling a hand on her shoulder she opened her hazel eyes and looked up at him. “Thank you. The Danaan will pay for this.” But she couldn’t rest not now, there were just so much things that were going on in her head and it was so hard to keep balance. Eoin might even feel his own element, air, starting to stir. Closing her eyes as the wind picked up just a bit and moved her hair, she took a deep breath in and then out. Thankful that no one besides Eoin was in the room or they would probably question it, “Need to find the balance…” She leaned forward and placed her head on Eoin’s shoulder. “Just a second longer.”
